Alpo Martinez whose real name is Albert Geddis Martinez, was born on June 8, 1966, and died on 31st October 2021 in the East Harlem section in Upper Manhattan, New York City, U.S. He was one of two children raised by his single mother.
Alpo Martinez, who is of Puerto Rican descent was known by other names such as Po, Alpo, and Abraham G. Rodriquez (a new identity under the U.S witness protection program).
He was an American drug dealer from New York City. He rose to prominence in the mid-1980s. In addition to his home town New York, Martinez expanded his drug trade to other cities, notably Washington, D.C.
After his arrest On November 7, 1991, Martinez was released in 2015 while serving a 35-year sentence for 14 counts of murder at ADX Florence, a federal supermax prison located in Fremont County, Colorado.
He was released after testifying against former associates and had been living under a United States witness protection program in Lewiston, Maine, under the assumed name, Abraham G. Rodriquez, until shortly before his death in 2021.

Martinez later moved to Washington, D.C. to expand operations where he quickly became involved in the city’s underworld and elevated his drug activities.
He met Wayne ‘Silk’ Perry, a notorious gangster and D.C. enforcer, who would later become his bodyguard and hitman

After he was shot on W. 152nd St five times, his red 2017 Dodge Ram crashed into the back of another vehicle.
